Infairness the club isn't doing a lot wrong, got a good price for Ethers, a good price agreed for Davenport (ok the got a better option but he wasn't
going cheap) got Bowyer off the books and now LBM, all big earners, whilst turning down good bids for our main players, can't really see any cause to
complain, but then the month isn't over yet.

Yep if we were to get 2 attacking full backs, in the same mould of Portsmouths Johnson or Hutton of Spurs, Lescott or Hibbert at Everton, ideally some with PL
experience, then the clear lack of width that Zola does not like to play with could be compensated for by this type of player.
I know Shorey is at Villa but he is not getting a look in with Reo/Young the preferred fullbacks at the mo and with Bouma to come back perhaps he may be with us next season if we do not seal a deal for Illunga. |
