Apparently we're in talks with Ben Watson of Palace. Fulham and Middlesbrough have also had bids accepted, and he wants to stay in London.
He looked decent in the playoff semi-final last year ... can't remember another game of his however.

This twin demand of being grammatically correct, but also treating the forum as if it was a pub, is quite a tall order, innit?
Infact, isn't it an Oximoron (a word I learnt on ITBS)? Is there actually anything wrong with 'spot fucking on', anyway? - I think it works quite well when someone in the pub says "having extra time in 2-leg semi-final ties where away goals count, is so fucking wrong". The lucky lucky cunts - they were completely outplayed for 90 mins last night.

Good engine etc. I rekkon he has it in him to step up....may not be better than our starting 4, but certainly is a better option as cover than Bowyer/Quashie et al. |

This Savio geezer... I ain't too keen on the club spending most of the Bellamy money on a little winger from Serie B and someone none of us have ever heard of. Not only that, but we need a pacey striker more than a winger. Isn't it an absolute joke that after all that TV money, the promotions, the cup final and millions upon millions in sales of all those players, that some serie B player could be our first ever signing that perhaps breaks the double figures in millions. Finally this Savio and talk of the Cardiff winger too... I thought Zola didn't like playing with wide men? |
