I second that, Skerrit. Hustle too, that was fucking dog shit too. Almost all of those type of programs the beeb do are shit.
I had a soft spot for hotel babylon though. Mainly because I wanted to shag the granny out of the blow job lipped receptionsit (no, not the darkie) and the head housekeeper. Corrrrrr, luverly. Also the spic barman used to raise the odd smile. Anyone seen The Beast on FiveUS with Patrick Swayze? Loads of great write ups but in truth, fucking pony. |

as a one hour twenty minute commuter either way then box sets are a god send - although I've noticed when they do a "previously on......." that
they include scenes that were never in the last episode.
just finished Band of Brothers which I dodn't think I was going to like but did I quite liked Hustle but it's hit & miss depending on the episode And I'm half way through season 1 of Heroes - which I'm surprised to say I'm liking so far.............. |

Not seen GK as no Sky however The Wire is by some distance the best TV programme I have ever seen. Yes I liked the Sopranos and West Wing but they were not in
the same league as the Wire.

Heroes is utter shit. Series 1 was OK but from the start of series 2 the confusion and weirdness elements went into overdrive. I defy anyone on earth to have
understood what was going on by the end of episode 3 of series 2.

Although not an avid watcher, did anyone catch the black history in the UK lesson that the EastEnders writers felt the need to inflict on us the other night? Even Mrs Skerrit turned it off. Appalling writing and acting. |

That sounds good Flash. (bbc4 thingy)
And is the kind of thing that if I could walk properly I'd like to do. Although mine would be travelling half way across London to meet Gregg Wallace.... honestly cooking doesn't get any tougher than this. |

lost surpassed itself last night, after polar bears in the sub-tropics, black smoke monsters and time shifting now dead people are coming back to life.
Heroes season 2 was utter wank, season 3 is better and more confusing but it did have ali larter in lingerie so its worth sticking with just for that |

After "The Wire" "Dexter" was the next best thing I have watched recently.
Any half decent British TV drama gets shifted off to Hollywood and turned into a feature film. State of Play and Edge of Darkness are out soon ala Traffic a few years back. |

Yeah enjoying GK at moment , no where near as good at the Sopranos or the Wire mind ...
Although i think the godfather character is clever , and i find the lack of Americans that have been iced by the locals disappointing ... |

I've really enjoyed Heroes series 3. Don't know if the second half has started showing in the UK, but it's been very good so far.
I've stuck with Lost this far, and will see it out as it hasn't got long to go, but it's gone absolutely daft now. And day 7 of 24 has been brilliant after the stinking pile of doo-doo that was day 6 |

Bang on with Lost Joe, but after investing so much time on seasons 1-4 you have to stick with it for the remaining 25 or so episodes to see what it was all
about.

I'm going to see the Client Eastwood revenge beatdown picture "Gran Torino" tonight. I think it'll be good.

I loved the early episodes of lost, but tuned out about three episodes into Series 2.
Horseshit. That Evangelina Lily would get it with bells on, though. |

Saw Gran Torino the other day and haven't laughed so much in ages. Anyone who likes the old school Eastwood schtick should check it out.
