Mancini is a real coup. The bloke has pace, style and flair. This is a winger who will play on the wing, take people on and put the crosses in.

You always do that Chin... state your opinion as fact.
You might be right but its not beyond the realms as Hack says our best player is at right midfield. He played several games at fullback for Roma. Its a possibility. Never say never. Props to your momma. |

Is the other Serie A signing going to be Di Michele?

That would be consistent with the net result of Hack's usual bursts of high excitement.

If we sign Mancini I predict Bill will be getting himself down JD Sports to kit out the nippers in Brazil gear.

I dunno Ralph. I remember having a burst of high excitement once - Christmas 1974 I think. Hasn't happened for a while though...

Shevchenko?
Haven't heard a peep about him. But judging by the players we are currently linked with, I'd find it very unlikely. (expect the official unveiling any day soon then)... |

Nah, that's a load of bollocks. He was an Roman purchase, he didn't adapt here because of his lack of pace and he peaked 4 years ago. He's on silly
wages and is under the thumb.
Even though I don't know my football and can only muster enough intelligence to read the likes of FHM, I did actually say on here a while back that this summer will really prove just how much of a drawer Zola is, even with our lack of transfer money and worldwide marketing stratergy. Thanks for the low down, Monk and others. Seems as if they could be good loans, because I can't see us buying them for what the papers say they are worth next year. If Chin's happy, I'm happy.

Oh a guessing game.
Is it Dean Windass? Or could it be Bojan? Or even Ronaldinho? Michael Owen? Or all 4? Tune in next week to find out. |

Now now Flash you know we have big money investors in the wings just waiting to turn us into world champs. Come next summer these 2 loans would be small
change.

This Mancini bloke - Looks a bit like a Latino Etherington with an Ant McPartlin forehead.
These emotive soundtracked videos can often be a bit deceptive, but he looks like he can play a bit. The key for me will be the Grays pre-season fixture, http://www.101greatgoals.com/videodisplay/2749471/ Unless all this footage is from ten years ago, naturally... |

I remember the last time we were linked with Mancini. Hadn't ever heard of him and after dropping one or two Pink Panther ticklers (do you have any of
those left btw Flash?) I resolved to keep an eye on him if he and I ever crossed paths. Sure enough he featured in a couple of those tonkings Man Utd. gave
Roma, and he looked "lively" in the style of early Iniesta or Chris Brunt in the 2008 playoff final.
Anybody in England claiming to anything more than a cursory idea of Mancini's ability is either a big fat liar or a big fat nerd. |
