That looks like a proper gooey, isn't life great but oooohhhhhhh there's some ups and down along the way, just-add-water story line, cover all bases Brit Flick that Richard Curtis would be proud of. The Lighthouse Family of films if you will. I honestly think you could like it... As for the clip, I managed 1 minute 30 seconds. It's a novelty song without anything interesting about it. Annoying cod-reggae guitar and banal lyrics. You like it don't you?

I'm more up at the Prince scale of things rather than down the other with Neil Young. I like music that makes me want to bust a few moves. You know some people take music so seriously they will actually stand in a pub and have a heated exchange over the mertis of one particular drummer over another one? That's like totally ghey if you ask me. No room for fanny because she might take up too much vinyl space. So they get a cat instead. Called Hendrix.

How thrilled we were when the staff lined up outside the hotel to sing it to us upon our arrival. But 14 days and nights of the fucker would be enough to send anyone potty. If I never hear Jambo, jambo bwana, habari gani, mzuri sana ever again it'll be too soon...

I can recommend two of their more recent albums; Achtung Bono and CSI: Ambleside. In fact, I'd recommend them all but those are particularly good. Disappointingly, they appear to have learnt how to play their instruments properly recently.

And it's odd you say he's got the "must be funny" thing because I actually think he holds himself back at times, like he knows he's too good for the hacks around him and wonders if he should even bother. If you were hosting a panel show who'd be your #1 pick? (I love these games… car journeys with me fly by.) But anyway here I am doing all this talking about "8 out of 10 Cats" and I haven't even mentioned Jimmy Carr's increasingly pathetic milk bottle shoulders, which I just know totally get on Flash's tits.
