Oh, and Di Michele looks ok, tried too many flicks and tricks last week which he'll get cunted for at UP if they don't come off against Newcastle at home. But he looked like he can play, but was unfit, and will take time to adjust to the pace of the Prem, which lets face it is a mile quicker (not literally of course) faster than Serie A.

What annoyed me about him most was the almost absolute refusal to do the simple thing. I can accept not knowing your team mates/fitness etc (although arent Italian teams what we are modelling our fitness systems on?), but when you are struggling, doing the simple thing is often the best option.

I wondered if he had read Di Canio's book.......
