I'm a believer that the hard part for a centre forward is creating chances - as long as they're creating, the finishing will come back to them. All forwards have a tough spell and I also think that most people expect players to bed into a new team much quicker than is reasonable. It wan't luck that Baldock's chances came two minutes after he came on and they would have fallen to someone else otherwise. He created them with a couple of excellent runs in behind - which, for me, is the hard part. Then he made a hash of it. I'm much more concerned about forwards who don't offer any threat at all. That's not to say Baldock hasn't disappointed, I just hope it's a bit early to write him off.

I'm not even going to mention the booing as some contrary cunt will try and come up with a counter argument and I'll lose ten minutes of my life like I did last week.
