Not me mate - unless you deny the point I made about other strikers.

And given the ridiculously disproportionate abuse Nolan gets, you can't say it's about me with that one either...

I'm not aware of Nolan getting a lot of "abuse". He is an often selfish in his positional play, yet effective player ... his effectiveness measured mostly in the number of goals he scores. In many games he spends too much time too far up the pitch rather than linking with Noble etc and playing other forwards in for my liking. I like him when he is actually in the middle.

Sam Baldock ? Got into two positions that Maynard didn't look like matching at any point in the game, missed them both, the first was a fucking difficult one with no time to do much else, the second was indeed more disappointing. By the same token Nolan has missed much easier chances in games for us before ... When SB has missed a few more easy ones questions could be asked, to write him off now is ... well I'll let others put the words in .

I've seen Tomkins, Faubert and Noble and most notably Cole all written off on this forum in the past. Not criticised for lack of form ... written off. Shows we are not all the expert managers we like to think we are ?
