What a great performance that was, did Green have a save to make bar the push onto the bar. To me Cardiff only looked dangerous from set pieces and we managed to limit them to only a few.

Nolan's best performance this season, scored, played a more solid central midfield role and played some nice tidy passes. Complimented nicely by Noble and Lansbury, who seemed to switch at will with Collison who I thought was poor again today. Vaz Te indeed does a good job down the left but how an earth did he fuck up that chance?

Maynard, difficult one but three clear one on ones was extremely poor, I really have my doubts about him being the finisher some thought he was. He made some nice runs but really should have finished one of those three, the easiest being when he was put through by the Cardiff central defender.

Defence was very solid and Faye looked like he wanted to eat someone, he just won everything in the air and the distance he carries on the headers means we get some decent rest. Green's last minute save onto the bar was unbelievable as was the one handed flip which presented Mason from scoring.

If Cardiff had scored it really would have been an injustice, they were completely outplayed by West Ham and got what they deserved - nothing. They had no imagination and just kept punting it long.

Nice three points for the Irons and a nice journey home again for the 1200 that went.
