Watched it on the box and was thinking throughout how we've come a long way since that shambles at the back in the opening fixture in August. also shown live on the Beeb. Cardiff haven't - I thought they were gonna be contenders after that 1st match. Maybe the Carling Cup run has done them no good?

No Faye (outstanding again today) and no McCartney (solid again today) in that opening game = that's one big difference - we never looked like conceding today, and were in control from start to finish.

For those of us who only go to home games, it was good to see an away performance all the way through - gives a bit of insight as to why we're at the top of the league even though home form is often unconvincing.

Fully expecting two tedious 0-0s against Watford & Doncaster now!
