People are their own biggest obstacles. Seeing that people can be resiliant enough to overcome adversity -whatever it is - economic, abuse, disability etc etc and still get themselves in a position where they have achieved more than the person watching must either be considered inspiring or embarrassing by that person. Especially if that person watching doesn't think they can achieve something because of some miniscule hurdle they have in front of them - like lack of time or perceived lack of opportunity or because they believe you have to be genetically gifted.

Bollocks.

You have to be committed. You have to give up some of life's creature comforts, you have to make some sacrifices and some compromises. All things that the 'entitlement' driven masses see as compulsory parts of their lives.
