I don't have any issued with the disabled.

I do have issues with those who not only can only be inspired by watching events such as '100m for people who are physically unable to do it to a high standard', but insist that those who find the whole thing patronising are morally lacking in some way.

It is the farcical pretence of competitive and televisual equivalence that I object to, not the Paralympics themselves. I see it as more PC fascism.

For those who require inspiration from such events, I would have thought a single 60 minute documentary in November would be more than adequate.
