Fallici makes a damn good point here.

If we're to truly have equality, you know the "impossible equality" that was written about in its planning stages before it came into action today.

Why shouldn't an 'able bodied' [I shall call them AB* from now on] competitor be able to compete with a disabled competitor?
If competing with against a blind man, couldn't an AB wear a blindfold.
Perhaps the blind guy really isn't that good at it, or in fact he really is brilliant, it's the only way to see by allowing everyone to take part and making it more inclusive.
Otherwise it's racist, or some other political mantra that fits with AB/disabled people politics.
