Must say Miami is convincing me now! He looks very quick and sharp and fit. Then again that is based on fuck all, and anyone could look all of those things against shit opposition.

I appreciate that promoters (esp. dads) are going to big up their son, but there's nothing to be gained by demanding a fight with one of the best in the country in the weight division unless you either think you'll win or you think you are so shit that blagging one big fight where you go on to get pummelled is your best career move. I don't buy the latter explaination.

Interesting though that the split is somewhere between 2/10 and 10/10. Either way he looks like his career will be one worth following.

Is Billy Joe Saunders much good? My gut feel is no - his success shows that he maybe has a decent punch on him and can take a few, but is he much of a boxer? Has he got much competition? But what do I know?

IS it worth following Fury? (To some extent my gut feel is the heavyweight division is one that a boxing purist might not bother with, but an occasional fan like me should follow religiously for the drama even if some of the boxing is shit - so I should follow him whatever.)
