Agree with all of that C. I thought it was Nolan's best game for a while (well obviously they haven't played for a while but you know what I mean). Anyone who thinks he's lazy or permanently off the pace didn't see his superb covering work when The Cress was caught in possession.

Funnily enough the silly cunt who ran on the pitch almost helped the result. There was a very dark mood settling in after Collins' sending off which evaporated after the run, the steward falling arse over teakettle and the very well-taken first time shot.

I'm feeling quite positive about the season now and thankfully Miami's interfering has made my first defeat as a thread starter more of a clouded issue. I'll probably be back for Soton.

As an aside, we were standing in the beer garden of the East Ham WMC after the game when who should appear amongst the faithful but Young Reece Burke. Had popped in to see his girlfriend (who appeared to be even younger than Young Reece Burke). Seems to be a pleasant lad. Posed for photos and took in good spirit the bloke who asked for a picture then handed Young Reece Burke the camera and posed with his mate waiting for him to take it.
