I pretty much agree with that.  But where are you drawing the line?  Is a pun on the name of a place where Jews were gassed as bad, still very bad (but not as bad) or fine (in the context of this site)?  What about a pun on the name of a guy whose raison d'etre for 20 years was gassing the Jews?  What about a pun on the name of someone who drove tanks for him or was his nasty (but nowhere near as nasty) ally?

Oh do shut up you lunch. You'd just act like an adult rather than some silly point-making cunt wanting some rules written on a beermat.
It is a serious fucking question.

"gassing jews" jokes completely unacceptable.  I agree.

All jokes mentioning fascism completely unacceptable.  Quite possibly, apart from in very specific circumstances (eg a few close friends, in private, all know that they are all completely anti-fascist but don't mind a joke about it).

But I am curious to know if there is anyone who thinks that jokes about fascism are acceptable, but there is a line that should not be crossed and if so where they think that line is and why.  There is a very strong argument that if you think gassing jews is not at all funny then you also think that fascism is not at all funny full stop, and youare offended by any fascism related joke.

You said "Gas and hissing puns?

Fuck me. I thought this was the last sane West Ham site left."

Was it that the gas and hissing offended you, or were you offended by all of it and only piped up when it became beyond the pale?
