It seems a lot of bad PR for what is effectively a small amount of money (say £2m) to a company that turns over £110m. The cashflow can't be that bad that they need to bring forward that amount of money by a couple of months. The same deal as last year would have been sensible - this is one they could have done with running past a fans forum.
