Extremly poor= Javis, Did he touch the ball in the first 20 mins. Could only have been kept on to keep Baines occupied
Poor= Song and Noble both off the pace
Average= Downing, Jenkinson. Downing grew into the game and Jenkinson was probably hampered by having Javis in front of him
Played Well = Tomkins, Valencia. Tomkins hampered by having to play on the left but played well. Valencia best game since City
Top Draw = Cresswell gets better and better
Outstanding Carrol, Collins couldn't fault either in any way if some of the others had put in the same shift we would have won by a mile
Superstar = if only for the theatre of thowing off his gloves before taking the pen Adrian.

Nolan great block in the six yard box near the end.
Amalfitano should play more.
Carlton,  lethal from a yard
A lot of sense in there but I particularly agree with...

Amalfitano should play more - I love how when he receives the ball when we are on the break I pretty much know he will move the ball forward and keep possession.  I am as happy for it to go to him on the break as I am an in form downing.

Jenkinson was probably hampered by having Javis in front of him - as cresswell was recently.  i actually think that our full backs both look better goign forward if we have no wide men playing.

What a game.  2 good sides, both giving it a good old go.
