I thought last night's game showed that Everton are a very good team, even with 10 men and we are (slowing) trying to reach a level like theirs.

My only complaint, and I know I may sound like a broken record here, is that Jarvis is not up to it. I take my hat off to Nolan, he knows the team has progressed since last season and he has done his best to reach that level, but Jarvis has in my opinion not raised his game one jot, his crossing is abysmal, decision making terrible and his tackling non existent. I call him the blind alley man, cos all he is good for is running down them.

I see Sam's subs of choice seem to be Nolan Amal and Carlton, but Jarvis starts games, I reckon Morgan and RVT should be given a chance to make the berth Jarvis has been given, their shared own.

It pains me to say it but retaining a player like Jarvis, who does not rock the boat, yet seemingly being willing to let creative players like Zarate and Morrison , who do rock the boat, go, is a folly and poor indication of Sam's managerial style, the latter 2 can have more of an influence in our games than the former 1. If decisions are made to make the squad and team better then we should be looking to offload Jarvis and try at the very least to give either Zarate or Morrison the opportunity to show what they can do.
