Having moaned like fuck about how busy the tubes were (bus strike), lack of crowd (in the BMU we had virtually a row each), the fact that it would be extra time and pens and it would be late to get back to Waterloo for the train (knew this would happen before a ball was kicked), the fucking ridiculous kit (spent the first half craving Cadburys Dairy Milk on the day I restarted the diet), how poor we were in the first half (Everton the better side up til then for me) and the fact that it WAS extra time and pens, - Adrian casting aside the gloves prior to slotting it home was one of the most theatrical moments I have witnessed at UP and worth the night for that alone.

A lot of 'old' as well as some 'new' West Ham on show and agree with all the plaudits for Ginge and Carroll who were both outstanding. Just after we score my increasingly cynical nipper said 'we'll need at least one more to allow for the inevitable Lukaku goal'. How sweet to finally get something against those cunts. I'm going to watch it on ff tonight just in the hope of seeing Kenwright looking deflated and crushed.

A lot to admire in the bollocks shown by Nolan in stepping up to put his pen away in view of the recent, albeit partially justified stick. Thought he played well overall and was a major improvement on the clearly struggling Song.
