Heard the Silkman bit last night too and I think it was just him talking in his capacity as an agent trying to help out another agent, I'm sure he is linked to RavMo in some capaity, the gist was sign him for nish, pay him peanuts, get him to sign a handcuffing contract prepared by his agent not the club and if he fucks up you bomb him out and quote the contract, or you expect him to pull up trees and if it works you've and I quote "a £40m player" and if it don't what has it cost you?

Interestingly Phil Brown who was on the programme said the mood of the dressing room was a critical factor when signing/releasing a player, he suggested that if you have unity and a good feeling in the dressing room then the gamble to sign a player like RavMo is too big as it will/could screw things up.

Funnily enough he didn' t say if he were current manager he would sign him, but he didn't sound convinced by Silkman's chat.
