Amazing how desperate are for people to find fault when things are going well.

This is pretty much as good as it gets - enjoy because if this isn't doing it for you then you might as well pack up now.

It's not so much about how good or bad a player is for me - it's 'is he the best we can get to do that job'. And Nolan is the best we can get to lead the team (a team devoid of leaders but packed with talent won't amount to anything - just ask Arsen) and play a squad role in the midfield.

You cannot judge a players worth to a squad on one performance or even half a dozen. I agree that in the first half yesterday playing Nolan and Noble as we did restricted Downing's passing and meant Song had to defend more than normal but that was a tactical issue, not an ability issue.

Nolan is desperate to win football matches. Never hides and sets a brilliant example when the chips are down. Dormski's got some ability and if he gets the service he delivers but I know which one I'd rather have in the trenches.
