Fred, If I may, I don't think you realise, we do not have many leaders in our squad our team, Nolan is leader who does not lead by example, there are other leadership qualities he has that Noble or Collins do not have, I would say if you cite Noble as a leader then his altercation with Tomkins on Tuesday night is not what I want my leader to do, ever.

Nobody stated that Nolan warrants his inclusion solely for his leadership, he has his role in the side, it is different to Amalfitano's, to compare the 2 in the same position is incorrect and unfair.

If Noland were not in the side, Song has shown, as captain, that he has elements of leadership, that combined with what leadership qualities Collins and Noble also have, are sufficient to lead the team, but none of them have it all as individuals.

I agree this is as good as it gets, we have a team playing well from front to back, we have players on the bench who are not complaining, yet ready to come on the picth and play their part in our success, the club COULD be on the verge of something good leading to the latter part of the season.

A top 10 finish is within our grasp, the cherry on the cake would be Europa league, fact. I don't think there is one supporter of WH who would complain if we were in Europe next season and I would have no complaints if we had Nolan leading a team out to face European competition, that would be where you see his leadership qualities come to the fore.

Sam has raised the bar this season, whether by default or design, next season he will be measured by this season, let's see what he and the team are made of eh? But until then buy a ticket and enjoy the ride, cos that's what I'm doing.
