Where have I complained about the team or the performance on Saturday? They did do their job, they won.

I have said Nolan should get less time on the pitch, and that it is risky to wait to make changes at half time (but there are obviously good reasons to hold fire to half time to). I really don't think this is controversial, and the fact that we are linked with a midfielder suggests BFS might agree.

I have said that if every time a team is getting thoroughly out-tacticed / outplayed first half it decides to wait until half time to change things, then it is only a matter of time before a game is played where that team concedes the first goal and loses a game it should win as a result. Do you really disagree with that? That is not a criticism of Sam who is overall doing a fantastic job. That is not even a criticism of what Sam did on Sunday which worked out very well. What it is is me trying to discuss how West Ham could do things a little bit better to make sure that the next game and the one after that are also wins.

Can you not understand the difference between slagging the manager and Nolan off, and suggesting minor ways to improve?

And booing. No, I don't think it is a massive help, and probably counter-productive pretty much every time it happens during play. But I'm sorry, I'd be surprised if BFS and the team were upset, surprised or disappointed at being booed off. They were expecting it and accepted it because they knew full well that they had to come out and do much better second half.

Booing a player as he comes of the bench is an entirely different matter that is utterly deplorable.

I really don't get it. If anything the criticism I should be facing on this thread is criticism for wasting everyone's time stating the fucking obvious - how people can argue against what little I have said I just don't get.
