Interesting seeing the media response to this... there seems to be a massive tone of "no-one saw this coming, so the fact that I was certain that Klitsko would win doesn't reflect badly on me as a boxing correspondant. Besides, Fury's not as good as Joshua (you know, that bloke who has never fought anyone and who might turn out not to be able to take a punch), so Fury won't be champ for long". Pretty disrespectful IMO (however much truth there is in it, and there may be quite a lot).

On the one hand Fury's performance was 3/10 - he didn't show much offensively, and was shaken by a bloke who barely threw a punch. On the other hand you go up against an all-time great and beat him convincingly and you have to get a 10/10 by definition don't you?

And what was that Jesus shit about? Would love to know to what extent he believes that and the extent to which he is a fucking business genius who has just bought himself another million american fans.

And finally, imagine being Klitsko post-fight. Your battered face is looking at an unmarked Fury. You've lost in your own back yard, to a proper clown, and the fucker's singing aerosmith to the world and his wife and you have to listen to all of it.

And the post-match press conference... very classy and respectful from Fury - shows how much the singing and batman stuff is mind games, fun and a way of generating more cash, not something to prove he's a clown. He's not, he knows what he's doing.
