On late at night but was top fucking drawer and different to anything else on at the time on TV. Just finished series 1 of The WIre and after initially having trouble understanding the fickung dialogue, it grew on me and for me, is the only thing close to The Sopranos. Those HBO cunts know a thing or two about top quality TV. Rome is also a corking watch. ps - Tomorrow will be the only time I can remember wanting Manu to win a final, for sure.

With the true story line it has it could have been brilliant. If the HBO writers had got hold of it for instance, it could have been a master piece. Actually apart from Sport, Australians are pretty much shit at all the remaining arts.

It's a modern day take on the King David tale with Ian as the King.
