I've probably bored most of you at some point over the last year with my plans to get round the Austrian Ironman in July. 2.4 mile swim, 112 mile bike and 26.2 run. I've been doing triathlons for a few years and i'll keep doing them until I can't.
Whilst it's very much a personal endevour it's also a great opportunity to raise money for a charity close to me. My stepson has Crohn's disease which is a disease of the intestines and has resulted in several very unpleasant years for the lad (operations, fed by tubes for months on end, unimaginable stomach pain). He's now 18, things are being kept under control and he's off for Uni (I should perhaps be rasing funds for that!) but for a disease that affects up to 2% of the population, the treatment is based on the incredible work of the few.
Times are tough and plenty of people are in the queue asking for cash for various reasons but any support received from you lads will be very gratefully received.

Thanks very much in advance.
