I also remember giving out inside info regarding a certain Italian manager we had lined only for Roeder to get the job. Boy did I get cunted off. Those were the days, I miss actually knowing what the fuck was happening these days. Since I started following this site (mangler, two-bob, brown stuff) I have had two diferent wives, four other girlfriends, bought a house, and gone from IT junior to IT manager. Im growing old with you lot, and I have never met any of you, shit I bet half of you can even remember the first ever thing you posted.

I seem to remember Hack saying he'd been told a name but wasn't revealing it as his source felt it was a ruse by the club or something? And I too have gone from Mangler through 2-bob to here (the sites, not the men, obviously). I started off a young bum that had just been made redundant and now I'm a rapidly-approaching middle aged bum who's just been made redundant. Funny thing, life.

The club did not like the fact it leaked onto the web. Hack helped to clarify the story by saying he had heard the same news coming from the club. It was only after it leaked that the club leaked certain other links to the story to find out where the info was coming from, for instance they put out the bit about Paulo Di Canio coming in as a coach. To be fair to the people leaking the info (my mate included) it was purely because at the time it got everyone very excited. People found it hard to keep the stories to themselves. I remeber Tony Carr getting in a bit of trouble at the time, although he never spread the stories. Anyway, did we all apply for the same job then? I went there just as plans on the IT structure for the new hotel were being released. Even got shown round the IT room, which was shit.

The club fed a number of different rumours through a number of different employees in the hope it would uncover who was feeding stories to me and others. Trouble is, everyone seemed to know it was happening and everyone ignored the planted rumours. If you're watching, Scotty, the same people are still ensuring I stay (fairly) in touch with things!!!
