Ribs - amongst the hullaballoo of Jackson croaking I tried to explain to my son just how big a star Farrah was. I told him that she was a bigger star than
Angelina Jolie and he said "I know she was big news Dad, but there's no need to Fawcet"

Bit of a Karmic thing this - after posting about Swells yesterday, the expected piss-takes came along but I didn't react as I knew that some time or other
the boot would be on the other foot.
And oh my, how soon that was. I guess what I'm saying is Dan, stop being a precious prick - especially over the death of however you like to put it a grotesque and disturbing distortion of a personality - and go and be pious somewhere else... |

Funny thing is I thought his early work was quite vibrant and energetic, without really being truly original and he seemed to rely on others around him to
ensure his output was up-to-date. He soon descended into cliches and self-caricatures - trying in vain to be "suprising" or "shocking".
Perhaps the same could be said of Jackson. |

Amocs read what I have posted (on just three posts). Nothing pious, nothing precious, nothing prickish. Just saying that I'm not joining in the jokes about
Michael jackson dying and I don't personally believe he was a kiddie fiddler. Seems a fair point of view. Don't know why you're bothering to pick
me up on anything really - let alone call me a nasty name - especially as I'm not one of the people who took the piss out of your friend's passing.

In her pomp Farrah used to give me a warm feeling.
Michael just used to make me feel uncomfortable |

Man who made a couple of good records 25 years ago, then repeatedly made the same record and dance the same way for the next 25 years dies, then end.

Ahh, but Joey. You are forgetting the genius that is the placing of the gloved hand on the crotch area and going 'yo' in a high pitched voice. A true
giant of the enetertainment biz.
Personally, I think he was a cunt. No wonder his old man liked to beat the shit out of him. |

I'm with Chopper - He's not dead, but I think he had this planned for a long time, set up the concerts as a cover, then exited, stage left even.

Brown bread ? surely he is more one of those Kings Mill 50/50 loaves.
Anyway you lot are such suckers... There is no way he is dead...its all part of the tour hype.. just imagine it... 'they' reckon the concert has to go ahead in his honour, people attend duped into thinking that everyone from Timberlake to The 4 tops will be performing... the lights drop ...a single spotlight hits the middle of the stage, illuminating a simple wooden casket... 15 mins of tears flow in the audience and then slowly before our eyes he is ressurected... and leaps straight out of that casket and into an upbeat rendition of I Want You Back with his brothers. As far as I know It would be the first ever live resurrection at the O2. What a show, long live the King of Pop. |

Don't be stoopid, Monk. The Four Tops will never reform.
