I still thought he done good overall. Some cross that turned out to be for the first goal. |

Didn't even watch it, Ralphie. What Hell yeah does in a meaningless end-of-season tournament has no bearing on the fact he is a slightly sub-standard

I thought he played well. The cross was badly defended, it was a bit flat, but finished well. Coped well with Robinho I thought, who had a very quiet night.

Difficult for Specs given the US formation. USA defended narrow so that both fullbacks were no wider than the penalty box. Brazil used the full width of the
field and as such at times Johnny didn't know whether to stick or twist. His 'man' was out wide and unattended, yet the tactics said stay where you
are.... and he was trying to do both.
Given that allowance I thought he did well. |

I agree with CRC, thought he did OK all things being equal. If we are goingt o go back to the 4-3-3 type of formation though, and from what Zola has been
hinting at this is the way he wants to go, then the full backs have to be good going forward and quick so they can get back. Do not really see Spector in this
mould, more a fairly solid defender with a winger in front of him.
Would keep him with Neil gone simply for his versatility. As a sub he covers pretty much every defensive position. |

Spector wont be the last fullback exposed by Kaka. He is what he is but what he isn't is a starting PL player for a club in our position.
