Charlie Brooker's stuff works when it's just him and trying to shoehorn a panel game into Screenwipe was painful to watch at times. He kept lurching from his usual very funny spleen venting to forced celebrity chumminess. And he didn't mention his mate Simon once. I will still watch it as there were enough laugh out loud moments. He is, after all, an international-level swearer. Inbetweeners afterwards was very good. Proper watch through your fingers, laugh in spite of yourself stuff.

His positional play is relatively poor. A player whose shortcomings have been masked over the years because commenators refuse to depart from the "indomitable JT" script and he has had superb defenders like Carvalho and Rio to share the load. I'm not saying he isn't good. Among muscular English centre halves I would put (at their prime) Carragher in front of him and Sol Campbell way in front. Chelsea will bite their hands off privately is my hunch.

The big downside to this is that compared to Terry, Upson would be an absolute snip - and is imo at least an equally good player...

It's certainly an eye-opener here sometimes...... ps - What this cunt earns has nothing to do with me or any other fucker. Surely it's a matter between him and his employer? Calling it 'obsene' for me, demonstrates a childish level of jealousy and makes blokes sound like fucking fish-wives, for sure.
