If it was written into Curbishley's contract that he had final say on which players were sold, then why did we go through with the case and not settle out
of court? - Any ideas, Pup, Rotter? I'm no lawyer, but ìt seems an obvious cut and dried case to me - that he would win if it's written in his
contract.
So, that's now Curbs, Brown, Sheff U, Chelsea (Clarke compensation) and Joorabchian who have successfully got money out of WHU over the way we conduct our business - I believe the case of Eggert Magnusson is still outstanding - similar to Curbs, he's sueing us over outstanding contract payments. Don't BG / Duxbury ever think things through from a legal point of view before carrying out their actions? Duxbury, rightly, tales a lot of the flak, but BG has got to take the blame for a lot of it aswell. The strangest of all the cases was Joorabchian. Very fishy in my opinion.

The day-to-day running of the club was SD, Clack. He created an environment that caused this situation. He's lied in court (allegedly) and been found out
so why he didn't agree out of court or thought any documentation wouldn't be cross-referenced and the truth found, tells me he's probably more
stupid than I thought.

Still at least we now know curbishley was responsible for signing the likes of davenport, quashie, boa morts, dyer and ljungberg all of whom have contributed
fuck all to the club. Can we not sue
him for that? |

I think flash is refering to the game of silly buggers we tried to play with Allardyce.
Having first agreed a fee, we pulled out of the deal and went public about it - "that's it, we're not payin g that, we're defintiely not interested anymore" - only to go back with our tails between our legs a few days later and sign him for more than we originally agreed - something like that, wasn't it?

I still think Curbishley is a very good manager who did well at West Ham.

Not that it matters, but ive heard* we tried to fallsify transfer requests from Anton and Linda to justify selling them. *I have no idea if its true, but sounds like a Ducksbarry (i did that one on purpose) play. |

Curbs was always going to win this one, but you have to ask big questions of Duckers, who really is living up to his reputation as the biggest fuck up ever to
have happened to West Ham. He's meant to be a qualified lawyer but I reckon any one of us could have done a better job than this idiot. Mind you, he is now
the teaboy so no doubt will have no more say in anything thank christ.
5m quid has been injected into the club to pay this, and Rothschilds are meeting with the Yanks, Sullivan and one other consortia this week. The yanks wnat exclusivity but Bernhart's playing the billy big bollocks card, best price? Who knows. |

I dont give a fuck who takes us over now, providing it happens soon and the entire management infrastructure of the club is changed..(Aside from footballing
management, im still OK with Zola and Clarke).
All I ask is that we compete. This, unfortunately means, spending in transfer windows to stay on a par with other clubs. This means not selling the first player you recieve a bid for. This means taking a step forward rather than back. Until that happens, just wait for the next dissaster. |

Just want to inject a point of positivity here as I often do. Received the Hammers merchandise catalogue yesterday and it's a thoroughly professional
affair with what appear to be proper catalogue models, including an ultra-fit cankly minx with bedroom eyes.
Club insiders, send along my regards to the new merch fella, whoever he or she may be. On Duckers, he couldn't have been shiftier in the face of my electronic interrogation over the McCartney affair, and I'm no Martin Bashir. |

And to think that it is Curbs' birthday on Sunday. What a party that will be now.
Celery sticks. Pigs in a blanket. Maybe even some houmous and J20s. Good luck to him. |

I'm already thinking ahead to our being placed into administration and arranging the away day out at Palace next season.
