Hines reminds me of Defoe a little - got that natural goalscorer, make a goal out of nothing, look about him - looks like Tony Carr's uncovered another gem there (let's hope we can keep hold of him for at least a couple of seasons)
Hines has been impressive before, but that's the first time I've seen him leading the line as the out and out striker - where he played in the youths and reserves I believe? - and that does look very much like his natural postion (in previous 1st team appearences, he's played behind C.Cole, or in a wider role)
Franco - effective second striker - it's almost as if you feel we could cope adequately without Carlton Cole.
My only gripe is that I thought some of our football was too frantic and hurried at times. We've got the skill, so there's no need for that.
